17 year old Michael Shine has been missing from his Tampa home since August 15th, 2018. He was last seen leaving for school wearing a black tshirt, black jeans, and black tennis shoes with red trim. He stands 5’11, weighs about 150 lbs, brown eyes, brown hair, and is African American.

Michael’s family is desperate to find him. He is not listed as endangered, but there is no indication he would ever leave on his own, according to family.

If you would like to help:

1. Look for Michael Shine III when you are out and about in Tampa or surrounding areas. Take a picture if you can and contact police at 813-276-3200.

Kristen Ashley Bennett disappeared at approximately 2 PM, August 14th, 2018 from Newport, NC. That’s in Carteret County.

Kristen is 24 years old, she is 5’3” weighs about 105 lbs. Brown hair and blue eyes.

It is said she was wearing a blue tank top with white stripes, orange long-sleeved top over the tank top, jean shorts, and some black Nikes.

It was reported that she left her residence near the area of Hibbs Rd on foot, and she did have her cell phone however it did not have phone service. She also took her wallet, according to information provided. The person who last saw her was reportedly in some sort of confrontation with Kristen, so we aren’t sure how valid that information is.

Kristen’s loved ones say that she would never leave without taking her child.

It’s odd that it was reported she left on foot when she owns a car, why wouldn’t she just drive away?

We hope the authorities can get to the bottom of it very soon. Looks like the Carteret County Sheriff’s Office has asked the SBI for help. Good job Carteret County Sheriff’s Office!

On August 23rd, 2018 they performed a search of the Bennett’s home and they took two vehicles off for processing.

They are not naming any suspects right now, and they are not saying it’s a criminal investigation yet. Kristen’s NAMUS case number is 5197.

We do not have an advocacy page to post a link to, but there is a gofundme set up because they would like to be able to hire a private investigator and connect themselves with other resources to maintain public engagement and spread the word.

In the early afternoon of August 4th, 2018, Kiera Bergman disappeared.

Kiera’s family doesn’t know what to believe of the twisted stories by those close to Kiera in Glendale, AZ, where she had only been living for several months.

Kiera Bergman is 19 years old,

Kiera is biracial, she is 5’3” tall, she weighs about 145 lbs, she had black hair and brown eyes, and in most of her pictures, she is wearing glasses. We don’t know if she had them on when she went missing.

Late 2001 ended in turmoil, sadness, and confusion for two families in the Rockingham County, NC area.

That year saw the separate disappearances of their loved ones, both mothers and both still desperately missed to this day.

Their disappearances were never investigated with any sort of effort on the part of the only agency responsible for doing so.

What happened to Michele Lynn Hundley Smith and Angela Whalen Hudson?

Why didn’t the authorities ever try to find out what happened to them?

Is this the best the good people of Rockingham County can expect from their public servants at the Sheriff’s Office?

One person is responsible for at least 15 attacks which resulted in over a dozen brutal rapes since 2000 in two Kansas college towns.

After almost ten years, police decided the rapist must have “moved on” or gotten sick but they were wrong. The assailant turned up again in 2015, just as desperate to attack but now he knows the police have his DNA, so what’s a rapist to do in this day and age with tools like the MVAC and high definition real-time surveillance cameras?

Apparently, for the time being, his pattern is changing. Is he cognizant of the high probability that it’s only a matter of time before police come knocking, just as they did for other violent pervs who never thought they’d get caught?

Police are not relying on forensics.

They have created a website to appeal to the community, on which they have placed an entire timeline of the events and even an offender profile.

We hope they don’t stop there.
